1. Purpose
Our Services let you generate and edit images, video, audio, and avatars using artificial intelligence. Those capabilities can be misused to deceive, harass, or harm people, so we set clear limits on what may be created and how.
You agree to use the Services responsibly, in compliance with applicable laws, and in a way that respects the rights of others.
If you are unsure whether an intended use is permitted, ask us before proceeding.
2. Consent, Likeness, and Voice
This is the most important section of this policy for our Services, because synthetic media depicting real people causes real harm.
You Must Have Rights to Every Person You Depict
You may only upload or generate the likeness or voice of a real person where:
- The person is you, or
- You have that person's explicit, informed, written consent for the specific use, and you can produce evidence of it on request, or
- You hold a documented legal right to use that likeness or voice for that purpose.
Absolutely Prohibited
You must not, under any circumstances:
- Upload or generate the likeness or voice of a minor.
- Create sexual or intimate content depicting any real person, whether or not they consented.
- Create content depicting a real person committing a crime, endorsing a product, making a political statement, or saying anything they did not say, where a viewer could reasonably believe it is authentic.
- Use the likeness or voice of a public figure, celebrity, politician, or executive without their consent.
- Use synthetic voice or video to impersonate a person in order to obtain money, credentials, or authorization, including any form of voice-cloning fraud.
- Upload the likeness or voice of a deceased person, unless permitted by applicable law and any applicable estate or publicity rights.
Disclosure
Where you publish synthetic media depicting a person, you are responsible for any labelling or disclosure required by applicable law. You must not remove, obscure, or alter provenance metadata or watermarks that we apply to Outputs.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Content Involving Minors
You may not create, upload, or attempt to generate any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor. This includes child sexual abuse material, sexualized depictions of fictional minors, and any content that presents a minor in a lewd or suggestive manner.
We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities and terminate the accounts involved immediately and permanently.
Illegal Activity
You may not use the Services to break applicable laws, commit fraud, launder money, facilitate scams, promote criminal activity, traffic in illegal goods, or evade legal obligations.
Harmful and Violent Content
You may not create or distribute content that:
- Incites, threatens, glorifies, or facilitates violence
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized hate
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating
- Incites hatred or unlawful discrimination against people on the basis of a protected characteristic
- Depicts gratuitous gore intended to shock or distress
- Provides instructions for weapons, explosives, or harmful biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear materials
Sexual Content
You may not use the Services to depict sexual intercourse, fetishes, or explicit sexual activity, to facilitate erotic chat services, or to create material depicting or promoting incest, bestiality, or sexual violence.
Harassment and Privacy
You may not:
- Defame, disparage, threaten, bully, or harass any person
- Publish another person's private information without authorization, including addresses, phone numbers, and identity documents
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Collect personal information unlawfully
- Violate applicable privacy or data protection law
Sensitive Personal Information
You may not upload or transmit sensitive personal information through the Services, whether your own or another person's, including financial account details, medical or health records, government identity numbers, passport numbers, or any data concerning children.
Deception and Manipulation
You may not use the Services to generate or distribute content:
- That you know to be false, in order to mislead or harm others
- Intended to interfere with an election, referendum, or election campaign
- Designed to discredit or undermine individuals, groups, institutions, or public bodies through fabricated evidence
- Presented as authentic journalism, official communication, or evidence when it is synthetic
Intellectual Property
You may not upload or distribute material that infringes copyright, violates trademarks, misappropriates trade secrets, or otherwise violates another person's intellectual property rights.
Spam and Platform Manipulation
You may not send unsolicited bulk communications, operate spam campaigns, manipulate engagement metrics, create fake accounts or personas at scale, or automate abusive interactions.
Malware and Security Abuse
You may not use the Services to create malware, distribute ransomware, launch denial-of-service attacks, conduct phishing, harvest credentials, scan networks without authorization, bypass authentication, or circumvent security controls.
4. Prohibited Uses of AI Features
In addition to the restrictions above, you may not use our AI features:
- For consequential automated decisions. You may not use Outputs as the basis for fully automated decisions that affect a person's legal rights, or that create or modify a binding obligation, including decisions about employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, or access to essential services.
- For profiling or discrimination. You may not use the Services to discriminate against or harm individuals or groups based on social behaviour, protected characteristics, or predicted personality traits.
- To exploit vulnerability. You may not use the Services to exploit the vulnerabilities of a specific group based on age, disability, or social, physical, or mental characteristics in order to distort their behaviour in a way likely to cause physical or psychological harm.
- For medical or clinical purposes. You may not use the Services to provide medical advice, make a diagnosis, or interpret medical results.
- For law enforcement or immigration determinations. You may not use the Services to predict criminal behaviour, assess an individual's likelihood of committing an offence, or support law enforcement, immigration, or asylum determinations.
- For biometric surveillance. You may not use the Services to identify or track individuals from images or recordings, or to infer emotions, beliefs, or characteristics for the purpose of surveillance.
- To build a competing model. You may not use the Services or any Output to develop, train, or fine-tune a competing generative model or service.
- To evade safety systems. You may not attempt to circumvent our safety filters or content moderation through prompt injection, jailbreak techniques, obfuscation, or splitting prohibited requests across generations.
AI-generated content remains your responsibility. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on or distributing them.
5. Platform Integrity
You must not:
- Abuse or overload our APIs
- Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or credit accounting
- Share, resell, or expose API keys
- Create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits or evade a suspension
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our infrastructure
- Reverse engineer protected systems except where permitted by applicable law
- Scrape the Services other than as permitted for public search indexing
- Interfere with service availability or attempt to disrupt infrastructure
6. Fair Usage
To keep the Services reliable for everyone, we apply reasonable limits to API requests, storage, bandwidth, compute usage, concurrent generation jobs, and file uploads.
Limits vary by subscription plan and are described in our API Policy. We may adjust limits to protect service stability, and we may contact you if your usage pattern places disproportionate load on the Services.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter misuse of the Services, please report it.
- General abuse and prohibited content: abuse@inferon.ai
- Urgent reports, including content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or misuse of your likeness or voice: abuse@inferon.ai, marked urgent
- Copyright and trademark complaints: content@inferon.ai — see our Copyright & DMCA Policy
- Security vulnerabilities: security@inferon.ai — see our Security Policy
Please include the URL or asset identifier, a description of the issue, and how to reach you. We prioritize reports involving safety, minors, and non-consensual content. Detail on how reports are handled is in our Abuse Reporting Policy.
If you believe your likeness or voice has been used without your consent, tell us in your report and we will treat it as urgent, whether or not you hold an account with us.
8. Enforcement
We may take action if we reasonably believe this policy has been violated. Actions may include:
- Blocking a prompt or generation
- Removing content
- Restricting or suspending features
- Limiting or revoking API access
- Suspending the account temporarily
- Terminating the account permanently
- Withholding or reversing credits associated with the violation
- Reporting unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities
We aim to respond proportionately, and for a first, minor, apparently inadvertent violation we will usually warn rather than terminate.
We may act immediately and without prior notice where necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or address a severe violation. Violations involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or the non-consensual depiction of a real person result in immediate termination.
9. Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, contact legal@inferon.ai within 30 days.
Include your account email, what was restricted, and why you believe the decision was wrong. Where consent is the issue, include evidence of the consent or rights you hold.
We review appeals and will tell you the outcome. Where a decision was made by an automated system, you may request human review. Appeals do not apply to terminations for content involving minors.
10. Changes
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time, including to address new capabilities or newly observed forms of misuse.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where they materially restrict permitted use, communicated to account holders. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
