1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our websites or use our Services.

They help us remember your preferences, maintain secure sessions, improve performance, and understand how our Services are used.

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the Services to function, and cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences because the Services depend on them.

They support:

  • Authentication and keeping you signed in
  • Session management
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Recording your cookie consent choices
  • Remembering which workspace you are working in

Functional Cookies

These remember choices that shape your experience, such as language, theme, interface preferences, and recently viewed items.

Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are visited, which features are used, what devices people use, how users navigate the product, and where performance problems occur.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the Services.

Marketing Cookies

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent before setting such cookies.

3. Who Sets Cookies on Our Services

Some cookies are set by us, and some are set by providers that operate parts of the Services on our behalf.

| Provider | Purpose | Category | | --- | --- | --- | | Inferon | Workspace selection (avatar-studio-workspace-slug) and interface preferences | Essential and functional | | Clerk | Authentication, session management, and account security | Essential | | c15t | Storing and honouring your cookie consent choices | Essential | | PostHog | Product analytics and feature usage measurement | Analytics | | Sentry | Error and crash diagnostics | Essential and analytics | | Vercel | Hosting, request routing, and privacy-friendly traffic measurement | Essential and analytics |

These providers use the data they collect on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy policies. Full details, including their locations, are in our Subprocessors list.

4. Other Similar Technologies

Alongside cookies we use:

  • Local and session storage to hold interface state and drafts in your browser
  • Security tokens to protect requests against forgery
  • Pixel tags in some emails, which tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked, so we can measure whether our communications are useful

References to "cookies" in this policy include these equivalent technologies.

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings available on our site.

Most browsers also allow you to:

  • Delete cookies
  • Block cookies
  • Restrict third-party cookies
  • Receive notifications before cookies are stored

You can block email pixel tags by configuring your email client not to load external images.

Disabling essential cookies will prevent the Services from working. You will not be able to sign in, and preferences will not persist between visits.

6. Cookie Consent

Where required by law, we request your consent before storing non-essential cookies, and we record that choice so we can honour it on future visits.

Consent is requested through our consent manager. You may withdraw or change consent at any time, and withdrawal is as easy as granting it.

Essential cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a functioning and secure service, and do not require consent.

7. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including when we add or remove a provider.

The "Last Updated" date indicates the latest revision. Related information is available in our Privacy Policy.
